What you say goes to your crew. Nowhere else.
In short: Rogr has no account, no server of its own, no analytics and no ads. Voice, video, messages and positions travel directly between the phones in a conversation, encrypted, and are never sent to us or to anyone else.
What Rogr does not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, voice, video, location or usage. There is no sign-up. We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not sell or share data, because we never receive any.
What stays on your phone
- Your callsign, crew name and settings, kept on the phone and in its own backups.
- Paired phones: for each phone you pair with, its name and the keys that let the two phones recognise each other, kept in the phone's Keychain.
- The log of what you heard and messages waiting to be delivered: recent transmissions are kept on the phone for replay, and what you said while a friend was out of range is kept until it reaches them. Messages waiting to be delivered are removed after 24 hours. You can delete all of it by deleting the app.
What goes to other phones
When you talk, call, share your position, set a meeting point or send an SOS, that information goes directly to the phones in your crew, over peer-to-peer Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth, encrypted between the two phones. On an open channel, what you say reaches anyone tuned to that channel nearby, along with your callsign; open channels are voice only and do not share your position or your phone's identity.
Permissions
- Microphone: to send your voice to the phones you are talking to.
- Camera: only for video calls and for scanning a pairing code.
- Local network: so the phones can find each other nearby.
- Nearby Interaction: so the arrow can point at a paired phone and so bumping phones can pair them.
- Location: only while "Share my location with my crew" is on, or during an SOS, to show your crew where you are. It is shared with your crew only, never with us.
- Notifications: to tell you when a friend rings, sends an SOS or is looking for you.
Purchases
Rogr Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we receive no payment details and no personal information from it.
Children
Rogr does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it collects no personal information at all.

This website
This website uses Google Analytics and PostHog, which Xeve runs on its own server, to count visits and clicks on download and App Store links. They record the pages you view, the page that sent you, your browser and device, and a rough location from your IP address. A cookie shared across xeve.io and its app sites lets us see a visit move between them. There are no session recordings, and browsers that send Do Not Track aren't counted by PostHog. None of this is in the app itself.
